Health Care Post-Mortem: Dems Feel the Wind at Their Back, GOP Hoisted With Its Own Cynical Petard

The hope and promise of the Obama administration was that America could get out from under the control of corporations and special interests. He said the only thing standing in the way of a public option in health care was his occupancy of the White House and majorities in both houses of Congress. Look at the health care bill. Does it in any way break up the monopolistic control of the health care system by private insurers? Look at the Obama administration. Do you see faces of change or do you see the same insiders and lobbyists that Obama the candidate said, “would not find a home in his Administration.”
Those that see this health care bill and the makeup of the Obama team as anything less than agents for the status quo are seeing something different than I am.
